Terms & Conditions for use of the sos-sellourstuff website
In these Terms and Conditions “we, our, us, sos-sellourstuff” refers to sos-sellourstuff.
By agreeing to sos-sellourstuff selling your items and/or signing our Terms & Conditions, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please therefore read them carefully and return the last page signed and dated before your first appointment.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Note the word “items” in this instance represents any goods included or intended to be included in an sos-sellourstuff eBay transaction.
2. All items are accepted subject to the Terms & Conditions of Sale.
3. All items are accepted at the vendor’s risk and sos-sellourstuff shall be under no liability for loss/damage, however caused, either to property or persons, whether incurred before, after or during the auction.
4. sos-sellourstuff act solely as agent between the vendor and the purchaser and in the event of any dispute or refusal to pay or non-payment on the part of the purchaser, they may at their discretion annul and cancel the sale of such items. These items may be relisted on eBay at the discretion of sos-sellourstuff.
5. Items must have a second hand value of £30 or more. Items likely to receive less than this amount may be declined for sale.
6. There is no charge for sos-sellourstuff collecting items from the seller, but Congestion Charge, Pay & Display, Meter charges etc will be passed on to the client if applicable.
7. Where a seller wishes to cancel a sale, sos-sellourstuff will charge £5 per item as a contribution towards handling fees plus the cost of listing the item. If the item is already on eBay, and has already received a bid, this charge is £20 per item.
8. Buyers are given up to a weeks cooling off period to return any item sent by mail, if they are dissatisfied. Payment to the Seller will be made within a month of this cooling off / refund period.
9. There is no refund on items which are collected directly from either the seller’s or sos-sellourstuff's premises.
10. If winning bidders delay in paying for items bought, this will cause delays in sending out your payment. In addition, if a winning bidder reneges on payment, we will cancel the original auction and relist your item. The amount and time of your payment will then be based on the result of this new auction.
11. All goods given to sos-sellourstuff for sale must proceed through auction and not be sold privately beforehand.
12. Where any item fails to sell, sos-sellourstuff will notify the seller accordingly. It will either be agreed to relist the item at a reduced price or for the seller to collect their items. Once notified it is the responsibility of the seller to collect any unsold items within two weeks. All items not sold and not collected within 2 weeks will automatically be donated to charity.
CLOTHES need to be:
Genuine (no designer copies please!)
Seasonal:- Spring/Summer clothes accepted Feb-Aug; Autumn/Winter accepted Sept-Jan
No more than 2 years old, of good quality and in nearly new condition.
Dry cleaned, freshly laundered, ironed and ready to wear.
Dirty, damaged, dated, badly creased clothes with crumbs in pockets are unacceptable!
We reserve the right to withdraw from auction any garment, which on further inspection fails to meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
CONSUMER ELECTRONICS need to be:
In good working order.
Clean, polished and as stain free as possible.
With all cabling or connections included.
Preferably with manuals/booklets and in its original box / packaging.
KITCHENS
The seller will ensure that the Gas, Electricity and Water mains are all turned off before the buyer/builder come on-site to dismantle units, equipment and appliances.
The buyer will be a qualified builder or bring a qualified builder with them to remove all units.
The seller is not responsible for any damage caused to worktops, units, appliances etc when the buyer removes these items. This is the responsibility of the buyer and will not be compensated for.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing the content of www.sos-sellourstuff.com (“the Website”) you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our privacy policy available at www.sos-sellourstuff.com/privacy-policy.asp. If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the products or services on this Website.
You agree that you shall not use the Website for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the Website. You also agree not to compromise the security of the Website or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.
You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
MODIFICATION
sos-sellourstuff reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
sos-sellourstuff have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
sos-sellourstuff will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website.
Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of sos-sellourstuff, it’s employees or agents.
COPYRIGHT
All intellectual property of sos-sellourstuff such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of sos-sellourstuff.
By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of sos-sellourstuff and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.
DISCLAIMERS
The information is provided on the understanding that the website is not engaged in rendering advice and should not be wholly relied upon when making any related decision.
The information contained with the Website is provided on an “as is” basis with no warranties expressed or otherwise implied relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the Website.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
